I am Philip Hall, Director and Owner of Hall’s Property Lawyers. I look forward to being able to help you with your home or business property needs.
I am also (for now) the sole principal in the company (qualified as a solicitor and a Licensed Conveyancer) and will personally be dealing with your conveyancing.
Before I got into law I was a submarine weapons engineer in the Royal Navy and I spent 3 years working at the Admiralty Research Establishment on Portland (causing me to set my roots down here in south Dorset) in between appointments on nuclear submarines operating out of Devonport, Plymouth.
After an accident ended that career I retrained in law and now have over 15 years’ experience in commercial and residential property work, starting with major league firm Clifford Chance in the City of London before returning to work in firms around Somerset and Dorset.
I have set up my own company because I felt that I needed to be able to offer clients the extra time and attention that they wanted at stressful and difficult times. The pressure of overheads and billing targets for other bosses made it difficult to deliver that cost effectively. Something I can now do.
As the name suggests I specialise in property advice and conveyancing, nothing else. With that expertise comes the promise of a bespoke service, dealing directly with me – your qualified lawyer. Based near Dorchester the expectation for local clients is that we will discuss the legal aspects of your sale, purchase or letting with you at your home or workplace or, if mutually convenient, at your selling agent’s offices.
That personal service is backed up of course by phone and e-mail/internet contact with written reports for you to review in your own time.
‘Office hours’ are pretty much whenever it is right to talk!
